Getting to First Horizon Park
First Horizon Park is located at 19 Junior Gilliam Way, Nashville, TN 37219. Nestled just to the NORTH of downtown Nashville, this historic site once housed Sulphur Dell, and now it welcomes fans eager to catch some MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL action.
Driving Directions
Using I-24 is the best way to reach the ballpark. Just get off at either the Jefferson Street (Exit 47/47A) or James Robertson Parkway/Main Street (Exit 48). Drive straight across the beautiful Cumberland River towards the vibrant downtown area.
Tip: Plan your route ahead of time to avoid unnecessary traffic snags, especially on GAME DAYS!
Parking Availability
Approximately 6,000 parking spaces are available within a half-mile walk of First Horizon Park. You’ve got a mix of both free and paid parking options that you can snag.
State Parking Garage & Surface Lots: Closed weeknights from Monday to Friday at 5:30 p.m. So make sure to plan accordingly, especially if you’re planning on catching a midweek game!
State Parking Garage: Located at Harrison Street & Rep. John Lewis North 4th Avenue North, this garage has space for 1,000 vehicles. Note that it’s locked about one hour after the conclusion of games on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On Saturdays and Sundays, it opens about two hours before the game, and on Mondays, it opens at 6 a.m.
ADA Parking: ADA spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis at the corner of Rep. John Lewis North & Harrison Street for persons who hold a valid state-issued disabled parking permit or placard.
Important: Be aware that state lots are also off-limits on weekdays post-5:30 p.m., so keep your eyes peeled for other options!
Additional Parking Options
Fans don't have to fret as there are plenty of nearby options:
Private Paid Parking: Various private lots surrounding the ballpark offer paid parking. A full list can be found here. Prices vary but usually, you can expect rates starting around $10.
Free State Employee Lots: Located on the west side of James Robertson Parkway for free parking on GAME DAYS! Just remember, vehicles can’t be left overnight.
Oversized Vehicles: Got a BUS, RV, or motorhome? The 10th Ave Circle State Employee lots are the spots to park those larger vehicles for FREE on game nights.
Rideshare & Public Transportation
Prefer to leave the driving to someone else? Rideshare Options like Uber & Lyft have dedicated drop-off points near the Right Field Entrance along 3rd Avenue N. Staff members will be around to help direct you to your rideshare pick-up points.
For those adventurous souls well-versed in public transportation, the Music City Circuit, a FREE downtown circulator, has a stop near the ballpark. The circuit runs approximately every 15 minutes, and it even operates on Sundays to accommodate those weekend games!
Pro Tip: If you're coming from the Music City Central transit station, it’s just a short 12-minute walk (that's about half a mile) to reach the ballpark.
The B-Cycle Option
If you're up for a bit of exercise before settling down for the game, Nashville’s BCycle program is a bike-share option worth checking out. Just hop on a BCycle at the station near First Horizon Park for a fun, eco-friendly ride!
Game Day Arrivals
Arriving early is key for a hassle-free experience. The gates open ONE HOUR prior to the game, making it essential to come prepared, especially during busy days. It's recommended that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the first pitch to ensure you have plenty of time for parking & entry.
Remember: If you plan on picking up parking passes, make sure to do so ahead of time as well!
