Texas A&M Aggies Football vs. Tennessee Vols Football Parking Information

Reviewed by Prked Editorial Team ยท Last updated October 21, 2026

Over 100,000 fans pack into College Station whenever Tennessee visits Texas A&M at Kyle Field. Getting around on game day takes some preparation. Texas A&M Transportation Services closes major roads hours ahead of kickoff, sets up restricted access routes, and checks digital permits at every checkpoint. Sorting out your Aggies vs Volunteers parking college station plan beforehand means you can actually enjoy the tailgate instead of sitting motionless on Wellborn Road.

How do you get an official Kyle Field gameday parking pass for Texas A&M vs Tennessee?

ParkMobile handles all official online parking reservations for campus visitors on game days. If you are sorting out your texas am vs tennessee football parking, keep in mind that Texas A&M Transportation Services does not work with unauthorized ticket brokers or third-party pass resellers, nor will it honor passes bought through them.

When booking Aggies vs Volunteers parking through university channels, your texas am football parking parkmobile pass links directly to your license plate and mobile account. Lot attendants scan the barcode right off your phone screen. If you show up with a third-party voucher that doesn't validate in the ParkMobile or 12th Man Foundation systems, workers will turn your car away at the gate. Fans looking for alternatives can also reserve parking near Kyle Field in neighborhood driveways and private off-campus spaces through Prked, which lets you skip the campus traffic mess altogether.

Are paper parking passes or screenshots accepted for Kyle Field parking?

No. Gate attendants will reject paper passes and smartphone screenshots at every parking entrance. Both the 12th Man Foundation and Texas A&M Transportation Services require each kyle field gameday parking pass to be shown as an active digital pass stored in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, or opened directly inside the official 12th Man Mobile app.

Staff scan the dynamic barcode or tap-to-pay pass at each entrance. Mobile service near Kyle Field slows to a crawl as the stadium fills up, so save your digital pass to your phone's wallet at least 24 hours before you get to College Station.

Where to park for Aggies vs Volunteers at Kyle Field without a permit?

If you need to know where to park for Aggies vs Volunteers without an advance permit, your best bets are the outer drive-up options: Fan Field, the Bush Library lots, and surface spaces along Agronomy Road. These drive-up kyle field visitor parking spaces open at 7:00 AM on game day and fill on a first-come, first-served basis.

Every drive-up lot is completely cashless. Attendants take major credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay or Google Pay. The parking garages and surface lots in the center of campus right by Kyle Field never take drive-up payments on game days.

What is the Aggies vs Volunteers parking cost in November?

For a major SEC game like this, Aggies vs Volunteers parking cost runs anywhere from free to over $60 depending on the spot, how early you reserve, and how close you want to be. Outer drive-up lots charge $25 to $40. Visitor garage spaces booked ahead of time on ParkMobile generally cost between $35 and $60 after fees. Donor passes from the 12th Man Foundation right next to the gates command much higher figures on resale boards.

If you are budgeting your Aggies vs Volunteers parking november trip, you can skip the parking bill entirely by taking the City of Bryan's free park-and-ride shuttles. If you want an assured stall without dealing with campus road blocks, homeowners around College Station rent out residential spaces and driveways on Prked at flat rates. Prked holds the #1 spot on Trustpilot across both the Parking Garage and Parking Lot categories.

Is West Campus Garage Kyle Field parking open to drive-up visitors on gameday?

No. West Campus Garage (WCG) does not permit drive-up, pay-on-arrival parking for football games. These west campus garage kyle field parking spots are set aside strictly for 12th Man Foundation donors, Texas A&M permit holders who have football parking validations, and drivers who booked a spot ahead of time via ParkMobile.

Show up without an advance digital pass and traffic officers at John Kimbrough Boulevard will redirect you away from the inner campus loop. If you do hold a valid West Campus Garage permit, you can walk through the underground pedestrian tunnel beneath Wellborn Road straight to Kyle Field, keeping you clear of street traffic above.

What are the rules for Reed Arena football parking at Texas A&M?

The Reed Arena football parking Texas A&M lots (Lots 100a through 100g) wrap around the basketball arena on West Campus and serve as donor parking on game days. Most stalls here belong to 12th Man Foundation donors based on their priority point standings.

Drive-up parking is not allowed in the main Reed Arena lots on game day. Any visitor overflow directed to West Campus must be booked ahead or routed further out to Fan Field along Research Parkway.

How do you take the Downtown Bryan shuttle to Kyle Field for free?

The kyle field free gameday shuttle picks up in Historic Downtown Bryan across the street from the Roy Kelly Parking Garage, at East 26th Street and North Regent Avenue.

The downtown bryan shuttle to kyle field starts running three hours before kickoff and operates continuously until one hour after the game ends. You can park for free in the multi-story Roy Kelly Garage or in any of the nearby city lots in Downtown Bryan. Buses drop riders off at the Memorial Student Center (MSC) right across from Kyle Field's east gates, making this one of the simplest ways to get to the game without spending money on parking.

Can you find private driveway parking near Kyle Field?

Renting a driveway spot from a College Station resident is an easy way to park near Kyle Field while sidestepping stadium gridlock. University outer lots like Fan Field and Agronomy Road involve 25- to 30-minute walks or long lines for shuttles. Private neighborhood driveways put you within comparable or shorter walking distance, outside the police-controlled campus perimeter:

  • Southside Historic District: Driveways along South Dexter Drive, Rosemary Lane, Luther Street, and Park Place sit just across George Bush Drive. That puts you roughly a 10- to 15-minute walk (about half a mile to 0.75 miles) from Kyle Field's south gates.
  • Skipping campus contraflow: Drivers parked in West Campus Garage and Reed Arena get caught in heavy postgame delays and mandatory police turns on Wellborn Road. In contrast, cars parked in Southside driveways can slip south onto Holleman Drive toward FM 2818 (Harvey Mitchell Parkway) or head east toward Texas Avenue (Business 6) without hitting campus closures.
  • Eastgate and College Hills: Properties on Dominik Drive and Lincoln Avenue sit east of campus, about 15 to 20 minutes on foot through Aggie Park. Drivers can pull out eastward straight toward Highway 6 toward Houston without cutting through campus streets.
  • Northgate streets: Driveways on Church Avenue, Tauber Street, and Stasney Street north of University Drive offer a direct 12- to 15-minute walk down Military Walk. Heading home, northbound drivers can turn straight onto University Drive or head toward Bryan without joining the stadium traffic crawl.

Booking a driveway through Prked lets you secure a stall ahead of time, with an average 5.0/5 rating on Trustpilot over 750+ reviews. The rates are usually lower than university decks, and you get a reserved space on someone's property instead of an unmonitored grass lot. Clear walking distances and upfront reviews make it easy to choose a spot, leave after the final whistle, and bypass the garage backups.

Where is ADA parking for Kyle Field gameday and which lot runs the shuttle?

Official ada parking kyle field gameday locations are split between University Center Garage (UCG) on Central Campus and Lot Y / Lot 114 on West Campus.

Accessible Parking FacilityGameday RateShuttle Boarding AreaShuttle Drop-Off Zone
University Center Garage (UCG)$40 (Prepay / Drive-up if available)Central Campus Transit TerminalAdjacent to MSC / East Kyle Field
Lot Y / Lot 114$25 (Drive-up or Prepay)Lot Y Transit PlatformKyle Field Zone Plaza (North Gate)

The lot y kyle field parking shuttle uses low-floor paratransit buses fitted with wheelchair ramps. Shuttles start running three hours prior to kickoff and wrap up one hour after the game ends. To park in these spaces, you need a state-issued disabled placard or license plate, and the person the credential belongs to must be in the car.

What campus roads close before kickoff at Kyle Field?

Streets right around Kyle Field close 4.5 hours before kickoff (or at 7:30 AM for morning games, whichever comes later) to clear room for foot traffic and tailgates:

  • Joe Routt Boulevard: Closed completely between Wellborn Road and Houston Street.
  • Houston Street: Closed from George Bush Drive north to University Drive.
  • Olsen Boulevard: Closed from George Bush Drive past the Bright Football Complex up to John Kimbrough Boulevard.

With these main thoroughfares blocked off, you cannot drive straight across campus. Anyone coming from out of town should stick to outer routes like FM 2818 (Harvey Mitchell Parkway), Highway 6, or Raymond Stotzer Parkway (Highway 60) to approach their assigned lot directly rather than cutting through Central Campus.

What time do parking lots open at Texas A&M on gameday?

All official Texas A&M game day lots, including donor locations, ParkMobile decks, and outer drive-up lots, open at 7:00 AM on Saturday. That applies whether kickoff is at 11:00 AM, 2:30 PM, or 7:00 PM.

Getting there early pays off, especially for an SEC matchup with Tennessee. Even with a pre-paid pass in hand, pulling onto campus roads after the 4.5-hour street closure window will cost you extra time in traffic.

Can you tailgate in the parking garages at Texas A&M?

Texas A&M bans tailgating inside every campus parking garage. The rule covers West Campus Garage, University Center Garage, Northside Garage, Central Campus Garage, and Gene Stallings Blvd Garage.

Campus safety rules specifically forbid:

  • Open flames, charcoal grills, and propane burners
  • Tents, pop-up canopies, and folding tables
  • Blocking driving lanes or vacant spots with chairs and coolers
  • Drinking alcohol in garage lanes and stairwells

If you park in a deck, you can walk over to open tailgating areas like Spence Park, Simpson Drill Field, or Aggie Park to join the crowd.

Where is the designated Uber and Lyft drop-off area near Kyle Field?

The required drop-off and pickup spot for Uber and Lyft is Lot 30e, which you enter via Old Main Drive off Wellborn Road.

Police officers do not permit curbside drop-offs along George Bush Drive, Wellborn Road, or University Drive. Drivers stopping along these corridors will be ticketed or waved off immediately. When the game ends, walk north on Wellborn Road to Old Main Drive to meet your car in Lot 30e. Expect high rideshare demand and surge rates right after the clock runs out.

How do I avoid postgame traffic leaving Kyle Field after Texas A&M vs Tennessee?

Starting in the fourth quarter, College Station Police and Texas A&M Police switch main campus exits into a one-way contraflow setup. Normal turns are cut off, and all lanes funnel traffic away from Kyle Field toward outer highways.

A few tips for dealing with contraflow:

  • Park with your exit route in mind: Heading south toward Houston on Highway 6? Choose lots on the south side of campus off George Bush Drive or near Texas Avenue. Heading west toward Austin on Highway 21 or Highway 60? Aim for West Campus spots off Raymond Stotzer Parkway.
  • Trust the officers over your phone's GPS: Navigation apps rarely keep up with temporary road blocks and shifting one-way patterns. Follow street signs and police hand signals, which feed onto FM 2818, Highway 6, or Highway 21.
  • Let the first wave clear: The heaviest traffic hits during the first 60 to 75 minutes after the final whistle. Sticking around to watch the Aggie Band, hanging out in Aggie Park, or grabbing food in Northgate gives the roads time to unclog.
  • Look at off-campus options: Booking college station event parking off campus through Prked means a short walk to the stadium and a clean exit when the game wraps up, keeping you out of the campus contraflow loop entirely.

Which Parking Option Is Right for You?

Planning your trip for Texas A&M Aggies Football vs. Tennessee Vols Football at Kyle Field requires weighing price against postgame traffic delays. This decision matrix breaks down every real Aggies vs Volunteers parking college station option side by side, comparing cost, walking convenience, entry and exit flow, and safety. Use this guide to quickly choose the best gameday parking setup for your arrival time and travel budget.

Residential/Driveway Parking (Prked) vs. Official Visitor Garages for Aggies vs Volunteers

Visitor garages like West Campus Garage provide covered parking closer to the gates, but they cost between $35 and $60 and trap drivers in heavy contraflow traffic after the final whistle. Neighborhood driveways generally undercut campus deck rates and position your car outside mandatory police diversion routes. Walking from a residential spot in Southside takes only 10 to 15 minutes while allowing you to exit directly onto open arterials like Holleman Drive or Texas Avenue.

Is Prked a Better Option Than Outer Drive-Up Lots for Kyle Field Parking?

Outer campus lots such as Fan Field and Agronomy Road cost $25 to $40 on game day, but they fill on a first-come, first-served basis and leave vehicles parked in unmonitored open grass or asphalt fields. Reserving a private driveway guarantees your specific stall beforehand and places your vehicle on private residential property. Driveways also spare you a 25- to 30-minute walk or long lines for the campus transit shuttles.

Residential/Driveway Parking (Prked) vs. Downtown Bryan Park-and-Ride Shuttle

The Downtown Bryan park-and-ride shuttle is unbeatable on price since both the Roy Kelly Garage and the bus service are completely free. However, waiting in long lines for return buses after the game can keep you in College Station for an extra hour or more. Paying for a nearby driveway eliminates transit lines and gives you total control over when you walk to your car and hit the road.

How Does Prked Compare to Official ADA Lots for Texas A&M vs Tennessee?

Official ADA lots like Lot Y and University Center Garage provide essential services, including dedicated paratransit shuttles with wheelchair lifts for $25 to $40. Private driveway spaces are standard residential stalls that require a 10- to 20-minute walk to Kyle Field without dedicated shuttle transit. Fans requiring wheelchair ramps and direct curbside drop-offs at the Zone Plaza or MSC should choose official ADA facilities over residential driveways.

Residential/Driveway Parking (Prked) vs. Rideshare at Kyle Field

Rideshare services avoid the task of parking altogether, but postgame surge rates often eclipse the price of a reserved spot, and riders face heavy pickup queues in Lot 30e. Reserving a driveway gives you a predictable flat rate without postgame price hikes. You can leave the stadium on foot, walk directly to your car, and drive out immediately without waiting for an assigned driver.

Texas A&M Aggies Football vs. Tennessee Vols Football FAQs

If you would rather skip campus gridlock completely, you can leave your car in Historic Downtown Bryan and take the downtown Bryan shuttle to Kyle Field. You can also book parking near Kyle Field in a private driveway or off-campus spot through Prked along George Bush Drive or over by the Southgate neighborhood. That gives you an easy walk to the gates and lets you skirt campus contraflow routes once the game ends.

What you will pay for Aggies vs Volunteers parking comes down to the specific lot and how early you lock it in. For Texas A&M vs Tennessee football parking, drive-up campus lots run from $25 to $40. Outlying spaces like Lot 114 cost about $25, while closer spots like University Center Garage hit $40. Reserving an off-campus spot or private driveway ahead of time on Prked usually runs between $25 and $60, depending on how close you want to be.

Do I need to buy a Kyle Field parking pass in advance or can I pay on gameday?

A few campus lots still let you pay when you pull up, but getting a Kyle Field gameday parking pass beforehand saves a lot of headaches. The best locations right next to Kyle Field (like West Campus Garage, Gene Stallings Boulevard Garage, and Reed Arena) are reserved exclusively for 12th Man Foundation permit holders or drivers who booked single games in advance through Texas A&M football parking ParkMobile reservations. Drive-up parking is relegated to outer lots, and those fill fast whenever an SEC opponent like Tennessee comes to town. What time do parking lots and garages open on gameday at Kyle Field?

Official Texas A&M Kyle Field parking facilities open at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, no matter when kickoff is scheduled. That applies to both reserved garages like West Campus Garage and standard pay-upon-arrival lots. For Aggies vs Volunteers parking this November, keep in mind that overnight parking is not allowed in regular gameday lots, and cars parked without authorization before 7:00 a.m. can be ticketed and towed. Perimeter roads closest to the stadium shut down 4.5 hours before kickoff, or at 7:30 a.m. if the game starts early.

Is booking parking in advance from a private host or driveway cheaper than paying at campus lots?

Yes, booking early from a homeowner or private host through Prked is usually cheaper than scrambling for College Station event parking on gameday. Drive-up university spots cost $25 to $40 and still leave you taking a shuttle, the city-run Northgate Garage climbs up to $50, and resale passes for top campus lots regularly run anywhere from $75 to $150 for SEC games. Private driveways near Kyle Field give you clear flat rates, so you do not have to stress about lots selling out or prices spiking at the last minute.

Is reserving private driveway or off-campus parking safe and legitimate near Kyle Field?

Renting driveway space near Kyle Field through Prked is safe, completely legal, and something plenty of Aggie fans do every weekend. Prked ranks as the #1 parking company on Trustpilot across both the Parking Garage and Parking Lot categories, holding a 5.0/5 rating across 750+ reviews (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/prked.com). With a massive SEC crowd coming into town for Aggies vs Volunteers parking in College Station, reserving a confirmed spot on private property keeps you from getting ticketed for parking on residential lawns or in permit-only street zones. Leaving after the final whistle is usually much quicker, too, since driveways outside the campus zone steer clear of postgame contraflow routes.

Where are the pay-upon-arrival and cash parking lots located around campus?

Drive-up Kyle Field visitor parking sits on the outer edges of campus. You will find these lots primarily across West Campus near the George Bush Presidential Library, out along Agronomy Road (Lots 110, 111, and 118), and at Lot 114 beside the School of Public Health and White Creek Apartments. Entry runs $25 to $40, and free AggieSpirit shuttles run continuous loops from these areas to Kyle Field. Most university locations are cashless, taking debit, credit, or mobile wallets, though a few surface areas like Lot 114 take cash as well. Everything is first-come, first-served.

Is there free parking and a gameday shuttle for football games at Kyle Field?

Yes. The best way to park without paying is the downtown Bryan shuttle to Kyle Field, run by the City of Bryan. You can leave your vehicle for free in designated surface lots across downtown Bryan (garages still charge a fee) and catch the Kyle Field free gameday shuttle right by the Clara B. Mounce Public Library and Roy Kelly Parking Garage. Buses start running three hours before kickoff, continue through the whole game, and wrap up an hour after it ends. On campus, every AggieSpirit football shuttle is free once you have parked in an official Texas A&M lot.

Where is ADA accessible parking located for the Aggies vs Volunteers game?

ADA parking for Kyle Field gamedays is set up in University Center Garage for $40 and out at Lot Y / Lot 114 (near White Creek Apartments and the School of Public Health) for $25. You will need a valid state-issued disability placard or ISA license plate on your vehicle. The Lot Y Kyle Field parking shuttle runs the Stotzer route, dropping fans right at the Kyle Field Zone entrance starting three hours prior to kickoff until an hour after the game ends. Keep in mind that Lot 88 no longer serves as the main accessible lot on gamedays.

Are Kyle Field football parking passes digital or can I print them out?

All official Texas A&M and Kyle Field gameday parking passes are fully digital. If you bought through the 12th Man Foundation or made Texas A&M football parking ParkMobile reservations, save your pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet before you leave home. Attendants scan phones directly at garage and lot entrances. Printed paper passes and phone screenshots will not work.

Can visiting fans park on the street in College Station neighborhoods without getting towed?

If you are coming from out of town, steer clear of parking along neighborhood streets, especially around Southside and Northgate. The City of College Station actively patrols Residential Parking Permit (RPD) zones on gamedays, and cars without permits get towed on the spot. Leaving your vehicle on a residential lawn is also against city code and brings heavy fines. If you want to avoid an impound yard, stick to campus-run facilities, city parking garages, or a reserved spot booked on Prked.

How early should I arrive in College Station to avoid gameday traffic and find parking?

For a big SEC game against Tennessee, try to get into College Station three to four hours before kickoff. Several key roads around the stadium, including Olsen Boulevard between John Kimbrough and Corrington, along with sections of Houston Street and Joe Routt Boulevard, shut down 4.5 hours before game time (or at 7:30 a.m. for early games). Getting into town early keeps you ahead of the worst gridlock along Highway 6, Wellborn Road, and FM 2818. It also makes College Station event parking far simpler, cuts down your shuttle wait, and leaves plenty of time to catch the Corps of Cadets step-off and wander through the tailgates at Aggie Park.
